Well I started a new job this past week. This I am very excited about. I have Ran only Putz booms all my life. I am now running a Schwing. I have absolutely no prob. Pumping concrete. The adjustment on the remote box is a very nice challenge. Totally opposite and backwards compared to the booms I am used too. I did 2 jobs with no problems at all.(The first was booming in and out of red iron) I just went slow and tried to remember I am not on a putz anymore. Which is kinda hard when that is all you are used too. But I must say I had fun running a pump inwhich I had no idea how the controls worked. This was no little pump either. I am glad that my new co. has faith in me to just put me out in the field on a different make of pump. I think I found myself a new home with the new company. Its all fun far as I am concerned :) http://www.pumpoperators.com/brian/ I love to pump concrete. It is in my blood. I will do whatever it takes to do the job right and safely! Almost 20yrs under my belt and still learning. |

Nothing bad to say about either machine...REALLY!!! I just like the control set up that I am used to better. Both Brands get the job done nicely and both make money :) http://www.pumpoperators.com/brian/ I love to pump concrete. It is in my blood. I will do whatever it takes to do the job right and safely! Brian, Its nice to hear you say that you have no problems with either brand. I have heard operators for many years say that a certain brand of pump was way better then the other. Well I have ran both( and more) in adverse conditions, steep hillsides, terrible concrete ,you name it. I really believe the differnce between the two main manufacturers is just like Ford and Chevy. Ive read a few of your posts and its nice to hear someone so passionate about pumping and not negative about brands. Good luck |

2in05 The middle stick is for the second section or for the third and second on a 5section boom. Good luck :) http://www.pumpoperators.com/brian/ I love to pump concrete. It is in my blood. I will do whatever it takes to do the job right and safely! Almost 20yrs under my belt and still learning. |
