Nice set up !

Gotta love the dunnage ;~)

Is that 'tire scuff' on your outrigger?

Thanks BOB. I think its grease that fell from the outrriger lock on the pump. I think i put a little bit too much. lol

Awsome, Awsome, Awsome!!! That is the ultimate concrete pump. Its not Giagantic, you can put it anywhere and you got plenty of reach. I've been sold on those machines since the first one I ran.

Yeah T the back outrrigers only open 1'1/2" more than the 40m. The front ones open i think 4' more but they go out straight, and you get an extra 10meters ( 164'vs 131') 33' more of boom. Pretty muck for the same space.

It is hard to have too much grease or too much fun. Careful out there ;~)

The Cat 11-14-2008

it's just every time you see a none american pump you seem to rip them to bit's for not having the correct dunnage under all the out rigger's that's all... not been funny just seems that way that's all

Hey Vasa good thing you mention something about it because i didnt understand either.
I didnt get what was wrong here that would give BOB a reason to mention something that was unsafe....

Someone please explain whats going on here?????

Tiago40m,

Love your set-up! I got a kick out of the 8X8s you have under your un-weighted outriggers. VERY WELL DONE.

Your tarp job was good too. You need a custom cab cover for all that elevated work you do.

this user is offline now  Vasa

NOTHING IS WRONG WITH IT.

Cat is a bit of a shit disturber. REread the post. He is still mad because I called him on booming flat over a "PAD ONLY" set-up on his 63.

But this post SHOULD BE about the 50m set-up. It is perfect.

Yeah u are right i need a special tarp made for the my cab.
About that dunnage its actually 12sx12s lol.

I had to put them there because i ran out of the other wood and i still needed more for this side, even thou i was boomed on the other side, i felt unsecure of what was underground and i knew that outrrigger was still doing alot of pressure since the boom was almost straight up in the air.

The guys that have the coolest tarps/covers are the NASCAR guys. Some of the car covers are done to look just like the cars. Very nice looking and probably much too expensive for normal people. I have seen custom sewn cab covers with the windows and a bulldog drawn on them….. WAY cool!

Just to be clear that pump like all the large booms made by Alliance, Concord and KCP are all Built in Asia and shipped to Vancouver via carrier and then mounted on the Mack or other trucks in Vancouver. They come basic mostly without paint and pipe and are finished in Vancouver but the reality is that they are all still manufactured overseas.

Not to say that there aren’t some great factories and mounting facilities in Vancouver because all of them have unbelievable shops and facilities, that anyone buying a new pump should visit.

I dont who deleted what, but i think it was the best idea.
I didnt people to sart with fights over something stupid.
Some like my set up, some dont, let everyone say what they have to say, thats why i posted it here...

the problem is that someone that has not pumped for years and is out of touch with the way things must be done from time to time has something to say sometimes and not all the time.  If you are not there then you don't know and should not always say something.  set up looked good but like you said ran out of dunage not much sitting around in the city is there.  some people need not always say stuff.

I deleted all that crap. It was/is a good set-up and good pics. Everything else was sour grapes.

Pugd what are you talking about ?

I ask a question about the pic because somebody else was "crying" about it ! I had no problem with it.....

And what 61 m has I put some pic of ?  I operate a 42 m....

But I know what pic you mean , and IT was safe that material and thickness and compactation and that big round pad was enough .

I wish that everyone would actually READ the posts.

I have never had an issue with VASA. Where he operates they have better rules and value human life more than we do here in the USSA.

VASA is an example that we should all follow. Besides, who wants to mess with a Viking with a scope on his pistol? ;~)
