On December 2008, Sany has made a new world record, a giant pump was born with 236.2 ft boom, this is a huge improvement of SANY pump technology, much innovative! |

No offense to anyone but........ Many, think about where their factory is. If you violate security there, you have a big problem. |

In my idea, SANY is much forward in his pump; now, people don't waste money to make useless machine; half step promotes a great step forward. "Worldwide" just takes time. |

Maybe, Bob can help me with this one.Or I'm on the wrong path. But when is to big to big.To me these companys are tring to out do each other. Are they thinking or looking at the safety part of these machines. They are going to make these pumps so big.We will not be able to set them up anywhere.Or drive them anywhere.Tell one state that will let you drive this truck down the road. Just my thinking Ruck |

Roadability is a big issue. In GA. the yearly permit says [5 axle & 100,000#] Everything larger should by law have a single trip permit for a specific address. This permit is to be ordered the day before and is good only on the route [specified by state] straight to and from the job. How in the world are you supposed to pick up a second job, cover a break-down or whatever else comes up for your 55 - 58 - 60 - 61 - 63 - 65 - 70 - 72 meter pumps? The second thing is when you have all that boom out there you need the correct combo' of weight and outrigger length. The smartest guy I know told me that without HUGE OUTRIGGERS or a follow-on truck with counterweights or additional boom sections - or both that the mid-70m pump was about as big as they are going to get. That sucks because I want to run the 101meter ;~) Safe? that is one of those relative words. |

ruck, many of us here remember the same thing about the 36m (wow). The sky's the limit but having the nuts to run them. Yeah Bob,your probably right.I have many thoughts about those bambo cages. To think they couldn't keep the A-Bomb a secret. |

Many, You were there. The first boom I ran had less reach over the cab than the outriggers on todays super booms. |

Tebequip, SANY already has several 66m pumps working in China, which is now for custom making. |

one thing that makes me nervous about booms getting bigger and bigger is the flex of the boom on those long sections. how is the pipe system suppose to stay together with 2 to 3 feet of flex from elbow to elbow. But Hell, bring on the 101m. |

REMEMBER YOUR WEIGHT LIMITS !!! Never use stronger than 17# test line on these fishing poles & keep your rod tip up |

I remember seeing the pictures of the 66m at Bauma. After looking closely at the picture of the 72m, set up on an asphault lot with no outrigger pads, I think I see a pattern here... If Putz and Schwing are the Coke and Pepsi of the industry - then Sany's probably the generic soda brand that you'd find at a 99 cent store...and diet at that...

Well I'm sure you can ALL guess what I've got to say about IT.................... Keep on guessing because if I posted my opinion it would get edited as soon as I posted it! Does this 72m have a pump under it or is it all BOOM? In other words, What's the point of reaching it when you cant finish the job?..............pump-off |
