thats awsome...another reason to keep my health insurance paid up

I got a shotcretejob this day, and this type of shotcrete is not what we use in Sweden - our shotcrete - wich ivé been pumping 1000:s of m3, is shotcrete with steelfibre and the nozzle is conected to one airhose and one acceleratorhose. That type of shotcrete works on tunnelwals, but not on a skatepark - because the steelfibre will hurt every skater who fall. So the concrete i pumped was more dry grey cley, then concrete and the nozzle was only conected to an airhose - totaly new for me...and the rest of Swedish pumpers..We don´t work like that. 

Sorry i can´t show you pictures, because my pics are more than 2 MB - and i have loads of stuff i want to show you. My costumer was an American company: "Artisan Skateparks" and their craftmanship is not possible to find in Sweden (!) Not even the second biggest buildingcompany in Sweden - after SKANSKA - could find concreteworkers that can sculpt concrete like my American costumer - my self has never seen it either, what they do with concrete is more art than what Swedish concreteworkers ever can do.

When the construction is completed, it will be an 20.000 m3 big skatepark - the biggest in whole Europe, just 20 km outside Stockholm.

One of the concreteworkers was: Kyle Berard. For me is he a very cind and friendly American guy who is a concreteworker - he is not!!! He is in this day today, the 7:th best (in the world) in skating - 2005 was he no 1 in the world. He is 27 years old and he has being a skatepro sins he was 14 year. Year after that he was the first teenager in the skatepro-series who have earned more than 1 milj dollars!!! He have earned loads of milj dollars after that - but as he said to me: " Too much partys and too much boose - the rest of the money did i waste away"

Now he is a simple poor concreteworker - but he knows how to skate - believe me, fear and gravity seems to not exist for him, after that show on the skateboard he gave me after the pouring. For him was the show not a show because the skatepark is just completed to 5.000 m3 with "titsarea" "360 ramps" and so on - i don´t know all the name they have on every area.........it´s concretepumping for me!. For me who haven´t see an idiot who have loaded an skateboard out in that speed in a steapy ramp like that... - and he did it with an embarrassing smile...idiot

 It is much worser than to see it in TV - he is totaly mad - what he showed for me, but for him was it not even a warmup. He was a little bit embarrassing that he couldn´t show me what he rally can do. He´s show was more than enaugh for me, he is a maniac - i hold my cellphone and was all ready to call my wife - who is an emergencynurse, just to know how to do to keep the idiot allive incase of an accident - he had no helmet or nothing, and i even though has done more than 2.000 skydivejumps - I know - truly believe me, Skydiving is way much safer!  - Kyle Berard is enough for me - wonerful, marvellous human and a cind one - but his balancesense is way far away from ours ors

What do the 7 American concreteworker-guys say about Sweden? They rally like our landscape - small town ( Stockholm - way biggest town in Sweden) and lots of wood outside the small town or village..what ever

I can´t blame them - they are from Los Angeles...

What do they think about Swedish people?

 Can not relax on workingsite - work goes first! Lots of under the belt  humor, even their wifes blue all the money

What do they think about Swedish concrete?

 Motherfu¤¤ng bad fu¤¤¤ng he¤¤ and sat¤¤¤ damned.. They dont like our concrete - they see Sweden as joke-concrete country. Even Though the best plant (of 14 out of 6 different deliverer) deliver their concrete. - believe me, i´m an independent pumpcompanyowner and i pray to all gods that i got that plant to mix my concrete. But my American guys just laugh about the grey paste that the best of the best plants in whole Stockholm can deliver. "They demanded more then a laugh to travel to Sweden".

If you in America has that concrete that these guys says - then you are just a spoiled pumpers -  shame on you!

ALMIMA we got some great mud and some very bad mud, the good stuff will slide threw the hose so easy but the bad stuff there aren't enough words to describe it, How did your spilt hose job turn out for you.
