its funny how all those 39metre schwings have 41 or 42 metre stickers on the boom????? |
||
CaSsE | 10-01-2010 | reply profile send pm notify |
well, maybe its because there are 2 types of booms available for the 39 frame?
More interessting thing is that, only the Australian frames are 800mm longer (recognized the 2nd door in the back?)
strange vehicle regulations in australia :D |

when in Rome do as the Romans do...some countries allow to imprint the overall size of the machine (boom+truck), some only the boom size. If you really want to know if there is any difference between thoose machines you need to contact the manufacturer |

CaSsE – That’s pretty cool that you remember its one you have built, everything is going great with it. I don’t work for Ron, but I work with quite a few people who have, Meales brought Ron’s company (Specialised Concrete Pumping) along with 3 other company’s back in October 2008. From what I have heard Ron did not end up getting the company name “Schwing Australia” and has no association with Schwing Australia, I don’t know the exact involvement but I know he has some association with a couple of companies in Queensland and Western Australia |

chongliyan hay mate, good to see your keeping busy, love the picture, cannot believe you are operating the very pump I learnt to line hand and eventually operate on, she is a good old girl, and it looks like MEALES have done a real nice job on her rebuild to, one day mate I’m sure;-) |

greedy I think it all comes down the what the pricing structure is, it is lot easier to charge a little more for a pump that sits in the 40m range, than charge a little more for a pump that is in the 30m range. |

jonno - isnt that hard to remember :D australia got some strange regulations and Ron always had some "extras" on his machines. like the chamber valve on the top and not at the back or an aluminium tray on the top or the longer frames. And, he did always have a look after his machines while we built them, a very kind man. |
