When I got to the site this morning my guys where hard at work pumping some stairs with Kam Concrete Pumping. Snagged a few pics. I also pumped some pan stairs, ended up 2 1/2 hours late because of the large stair pour. Then on the way to another job, which ended up being 3 hours late for 2 freaking yards, my truck decided to spew oil everywhere. Did not notice until I got there with a decent puddle under the truck. Anyway I topped that off, and limped it back to the shop. I dont think we came out in the black today. |

Something I have convinced some of our contractors of is with stair pans to use a peagravel mix with 2 1/2" hose. It can improve your time even with a bad crew because its so much easier to work with, and there is a lot less mess. |

Yeah the boom pump was used with the formed stairs. They pumped a 3" slump. It was so thick that it did not want to some out of the truck. When I did the pan stairs, it was 3000 super pea pump mix through 2" hose. Real simple, the long part is waiting for the finishers to catch up. |
