i ran sermac 41z for just over a year befor i got my 52m putz.i loved everything about it quick to set up and derig easy to washout i pumped 35 thousand meters of concrete through mine no problem just make sure the auto lube is full of grease and you get a pile of grease on the floor under the hopper at the end off the day to show its working make sure the cutting ring rings when you wash out that used to tell me theres no build up in the s valve bummer to get build up out when gone hard if pumping through a pipe line open up control panel and disconect wire no89 this stops the pump from kicking i put a switch in mine so i didnt have to keep opening panel one anoying thing is the cutout switch on hopper door can only open door a bit befor pump cuts out saftey feature but i got round mine we run eighteen pumps six of them are sermacs good pumps have fun with it i did |

Heaps of Sermac's here in Australia. From what i have been told they are a pretty cheap and reliable pump. Was quite impressed with the volume delivery. Not quite a Putz or Schwing (based on resale value), but for what you pay for, a good addition to the fleet. The cutting ring doesnt have high life expectancy. So much that a major pumping company, changed the back end to a schwing S valve. The large 50+ do seem to have some problems with the weight on the back tri axle. The radio remote may need attension now and then esp in hot climates. |
