Yes, one that I know of....Me. My name is Eve and I have lived in Colorado for the past 15 year, my husband is an American, and he works for a local concrete pumping company. I am an artist and started drawing pump trucks last year. Seems to be popular with pump truck drivers. My best freind who is also a Brit. lives in SC. Talk to you soon. Eve. |

Hey budda, i run up to 100mtrs at the moment on a ground lay pump, i charge £120 callout, and £40 an hour for the rest. Iwas talking to a firm in birmingham 2 days ago and he sends his 35mtr boom out for £50 travel each way and £60 anhour for the rest of the day minimum of 6hrs. I cant charge them prices but im not to far away from them. there is a big difference over here when it comes to pumping, boom pumps have been around for a while, but builders are stuck in there ways, if it can be wheel barrowed then that is what they will do!! Im finding it hard at the moment to get a steady flow of work coming in but it is nearly christmas and builders arent looking at opening up new jobs, it will be early january before work picks up here. I think if you were to look for a job on the booms, then a long served operator like yourself wouldnt find it hard to get a job. give me a shout if you do come over here, be nice to meet up. speak soon |
