Callaghan spares and assistance can stiil be just an email away. I can put you in touch with an ex-engineer who has the capacity to supply parts etc.

I hate to say this because I might upset some people but here goes anyway. Why do you own a Callagahan, if you live in the USA it’s time to stop using them. If you do plan on using this pump please get a full inspection on it. This will cost you $1,000 to $2.000 and there are a few guys out there that can do this service for you. I hate to say it but in my opinion who ever sold you this pump did you no favors. I’m not saying that this pump was not good in its day and can still pump well, what I am saying is why would you run a pump that has no support, and your liability is so high with this pump. There are so many good, inexpensive used pumps out there right now were you can get support, buy parts and have a manufacture who will support you.. I don’t mean to offend you and maybe you got the pump for 10k so you see your way clear to buy it but really at least get a full boom inspection by a pro. That’s the best thing you can do at this point.

P.S.

I love you Guys from down under so don’t get mad at me.

This on eis for Todd, I run a Callaghan S400 truck mounted line pump,

this will out pump any schwing or Putz, just completed a night pour where we pumpmed through 260 lineal meters of pipeline, news travels fast we are on the East Coast of Australia on WEdensday I am off the the west coast as a company there wants me ot quotes on a 800 lineal meter push as no one else down under wants to have a go.

If anyone wnats or needs spares drop me a line, no need to talk to ex engineers who rely on thers to help them out.

Regards

Driver

I think that is the perfect pump for you boys down under. Local mf'g no big wait for parts. The same can not be said for operating them here in the states. Their value is in the home market where they do a very respectful job. A USA pumper would be better served to purchase something he can use & sell if need be.
