I heard that they used over one million cubic yards of concrete at Chernobyl, so that means we might need as much as 4 million cubic yards at Fukushima?
I confess I dont know if that is a drop in the bucket or not. That is why I am posting this question.
Will we have a cement shortage? Is it time to buy stock in the makers of Cement? |

Not so sure.. In Holland they produce about 16mljn m3 per year I believe and that's only a very tiny country.. So world wide my guess is its just a drop in a bucket... |

Economic's 101 in the usa Anytime a producer see something like that,it's katy bar the door.Not only will they rasise profits from sending abroad,they do the same here.Example,when china built there dam my rebar/mesh prices went up 300%,china was buying all they could get.You do the math,oh,hows that $300 a barrel oil looking now? |
