Just wondering what parts of the country and world are staying busy. Are you slow, steady or busy and where are you located? Figured I would do a different topic than the usual.

Right now this is supposedly the fastest growing Provence in Canada. 3 towers going up down town, I pumped over 10,000 meters at warehouse, and theirs a billion dollar refinery expansion project. 40-55hr weeks just before this -35c weather rolled in a few weeks ago. Expecting to be the busiest summer in years. Now good thing I dropped pumping in AZ and found my way here for another 2 year Visa.

When did they hold a WorldChampionship in concrete-pumping ? Have I missed something ? It had been fun to watch and drink some beer !

haha. Vasa. Its an expression in Norway.. Its when you believe that you are the best and no one knows anything more than you do and you don't listen to any ones advice because you always know better... In the mean while you try to make everyone do it your way...

We have an amazingly great gang of pumpers.. All are very good (or very willing to learn more) and all are very nice people.. Thats the kind of guys we look for ;-)

As far as the " world champions" I think that covers all pump mechanics I have worked with. They know everything

at World of Concrete they had races on ride-on power trowels.
