4 degrees this morning in nrth'n Indiana-  -20 wind chill. Maybe lay-off isn't that bad LOL.

its -10 for a high today in the midwest was -24 for the low last night

-8 at wake up but it is warmer now! Maine USA

11:00 in the moring here in sunny Minnesota and already up to -15 it's a good day to stay in the house. Called off school today.

After several winters of pumping in Iowa & Colorado.............. I bailed out - South!

Here in PEI we had -33 C last nite daytime today is hovering around -25 and we are looking at a cool -38 tonite. Tommorrow not looking any better thank God the local contractors put off the scheduled jobs till next week !!

Around 70F today in the San Francisco bay area, low around 40F. Sorry fellas... no artic chill here. Pumping in T-shirts and even a little perspiration.

we didnt hit the negative numbers today. 9am 28-30 degrees plus 20mph wind. put 420yds on the 15th floor. very grateful 2 be cold. means that im not broke.2nites low 14 degrees without wind chill. coldest temps in "HOTLANTA" in 6 years!

One question ? You all talk about windchill ( yes I know what windchill is) But today we had -7 celsius and some wind but we dont talk about it or write about the windchill.....

Why ?

    "            ---    40kph/25mph wind = -31C/-15F

    "            ---    80kph/50mph wind = -44C/-45F(flesh may freeze in one minute)

-30C/-20F    ---    8 kph/5mph winds = -33C/-25F

     "            ---    24kph/15mph winds = -52C/-60F

     "            ---    40kph/25mph winds = -61C/-71F

     "            ---     80kph/50mph winds = -69C/-85F(fresh may freeze in 30 seconds)

anybody from the prairies will tell you,  "Wind F$%^IN SUCK!!!"  Im glad i chose to live next to the warm ocean.  I dont know how the East coast still operates with weather like today?
