Hello all- I used to post here a bit about a year or so ago. You might remember me complaining a lot of the lack of saftey practices in southwest Florida. Anyway I was in the office for a while. Now times are tough and Im back in a boom pump (just fine by me) and there are NO other pumping jobs around. Where should I start looking if I decide to relocate in order to work for a better company or for better pay/more hours? Is it booming anywhere? Thanks in advance, Adam

Adam,I'm not convinced there is a hot spot.I do remember an add for operators in La. some time back in the classified sec.With the ecomy being as it is looking for work in the construction industry is one tough animal.Keep in mind this is the time that employers have the pick of the crop,replacing the ones that are not team players.Just be cautious,use common sense,value your family's wishes as well.You may wish to check the websites of the pumping companies.If your willing to relocate I may know of one pumping job,a small well run Co. in wyo.
