I'VE BOUGHT 5 GL. SO FAR, HAVN'T MADR UP MY MIND ABOUT IT YET.  HAVE IT AND LIQUID HAMMER FOR CLEANING SMALL SPLASH AREAS I PREFERE LIQ-HAMMER SO FAR I HAVN'T COMPARED ON THICKER CONCRETE YET.

THE BACK-SET IS MORE ECONOMICAL.  HOPE IT HELPS.

DEALER TOLD ME THE BACKSET REMOMES 20 TO 30 THOUSAND/TH AT A TIME.  REAPPLY WITHOUT WASHING OFF TO GO DEEPER..

I've been trying to get concrete off of equipment for 15 years and have figured out there is no "magic " product, it takes work. We have used back set, it is ok. We now use liquid hammer I seem to think it is a little better. We used to have a operator that would just spray it on and stare at it for 15 minutes then hose it off and wonder why his pump was still dirty. The trick is to put it on, scrub with a brush, put some more on and in about 15 minutes use a scraper lightly and then it usually comes right off as long as it's not too heavy. I think liquid hammer is better for your paint job. We also use a product called "blonde cherry degreaser" made by allied. It is awesome for getting off your form oil or what ever you spray on your hopper. It even takes off light concrete splatters. I will find out more about who makes it tomorrow.

the best method is get it off quickly as possible, don't leave a mess for the next day....nothing better than the ol' pressure wash.  I know its tought when you done back to back jobs, but thats the way I do it, work late and clean it off.

Hi Guy's: Well,I have a little trick I use . I mix back-set and dish soap in a little sprayer, and when I pull my TARPS,I spray it on the uncovered and covered areas. It cleans and degreases! I also use a mix of dish soap and water on exposed areas, which also helps!
