Hey Guys, I have a need to get about 3 yards of concrete into a large hole in my back yard (it's for a radio tower base). The problem is, that it's not very accessible. I'm wondering if we could pump concrete in from the street, which is about 175 feet away, and the place where we'd be pumping to is slightly downhill from the street. I'm in a medium to smallish town, so I don't know if what would be needed to do this could be found in this town, or is that a pretty basic need? Any ideas of a real ballpark estimate of cost? Thanks!

Oh, and one other thing I should note - there's some large trees up near the street, that I would guess would make a boom difficult, if not impossible, to use...

Sounds like you need a line pump/trailer pump. They can run 175 of system back to the pour site without any probem as long as their is access. I guess without any problems cost would be from 400-600 for just the pumping portion of it--depending on minimum charges in your area/travle to site etc.

Their are some quality line pumpers on this site I am sure can get you what you need.

If the hole figures out to 3 yds.,order 5.The 2 yds will be required to "charge" the line and hopper.Oh yea,the operator stands a pretty good chance of needing a place to clean up his pump after the job is done,and being in Cal.,this might cause a problem.In my area we need all the fill we can muster.......N.O.
