Before you get out of the gate this year!

How ready is every one for the season? Is the engine serviced and ready to go? Are all the Oil levels up to snuff? How about the fan belts, any cracks? Did you grease your pump from tip to tail, and top to bottom? Don't forget about the grease zerk hiding behind the dust cover for your throw out bearing (Mack Trucks). When was the last time you checked your air pressure in the tires. Have you changed your hydraulic filters lately. What's the condition of your hydraulic oil, is it clear or is it milky? You really need to know! Have you inspected your differential cylinder seals in the water box, are they leaking or are they dry? Are your mudcups up to the challenge? Are the ajatator seals taking grease, or are they grout bound? How about your pipline, is it good to go? Wear parts good enough to get you thru the year? How about your accumulator nitrogen pressure, do you know how to check it without hooking up to the bottle with gauges? How about your hydraulic pressures, boom, ajatator, concrete pump, acumulator, etc, are they in the ball park? Sory guys, didn't mean to get your feathers ruffled, just helping put you in the right frame of mind before the gate opens this season. You have to at least get out of the gate with confidence! Good luck this season and be safe!

Are you kidding me? It's been so damn slow these past few months I have milked the shop clock til it's damn near dry! I been fix'n and replacing stuff that aint even all the way broken. The only thing left to be done on our pumps is paint, I'm just waiting for the weather to break for that project.

But thank you very much for the reminder pumpwench!

I hear ya TooTall! If it got any slower for me, I'd have to speed up to stop! That's why I'm trolling online, just simply bored to death. The hammer will drop soon though.

Don't forget to check your driveway, make sure the repo man left you at least one pump to work with.  Then check your bank account, make sure you got enough money to fuel up (those overdraw charges are a bitch).

NO $hite cp1! That's about as strait up honest as it gets and it's happening everywhere! Gotta keep a couple though, ya better know how to line pump also. It's nice to know some farmers with big cozy barns to keep em out of the weather and safe from them nasty repo bastards. HAHA! The trick with the fuel is to go to where it's cheaper. I've been fueling at the co op for $1.87 gal. and topping off for under a hunderd bucks! With all the nice pumps being auctioned off and some going for the same price of a new pick up, there are some people that are actually capitalizing on this mess.
