Well hope everyone pumped alot during the weekend... lol

Lets begin another week of pumping concrete on the safest way possible. So today was a long  day, 4 trucks of concrete, 62 colums, 7 hours of pumping, 40m was moved twice in order to reach all the spots...

Now best of all, when i was pumping an idea came up to my head. 1st i tought it was just stupid and pointless but then i tought twice about and it made alot more sence..

So what did i come up with.... Well this site was made with the purpose of meeting new pumpers, explain your problems and ask others for opinions, post pics of your pump, etc ,etc. Now since we have so many people with diferent opinions and ways of pumping concrete, what if one day we get well organized and i go to somoelses company to work with that pump operator for a week and after that, the pump operator would come to where i live to see how things are diferent all aorund the country....

To make this short let me say this on my own words   For example:

I fly over to Cali for one week to work X operator. Ill get to meet new people, enjoy a diferent country, and see how people do it there. I would stay at the X operators house for that week go to work him every morning. i would take care of my flying ticket and other things of curse. After that week that X operator flys to new york to work with me for a week. Stays at my house, goes to work with me and sees how we do it in new york ....

Ok that was my idea, i know my english isnt perfect but i tryied my best..

WHat do u guys think about this...... Be honest i dont mind if you say that its the most nonsence idea u ever heard in your life lol...

I like it...I really do.

Some companies might be easier to do this with than others.  You might want take more like a month, because 1 week might not be long enough

If you came to work with me for 1 week- 

Day 1: you would have to take a drug test.  

Day 2: you would have to join the union. 

Day 3: the results of the drug test would allow you to work but only residential - commercial jobs would require another day of contractor/site specific orientations (videos, safety talks etc..)

Day 4: You'd actually get to work with me

Day 5: One last day of work before you fly home
