You are right, I think those are the factory Putz pad right? Even Putz says they are not to be used alone, I am right? I might be wrong. |

i think the pads and set up are down to the driver he is the one in charge of his pump he should now what is safe or not but is that a double ended 5" hose ? |

I was operating a 42m that day. I was however on the job pumping , while having a break in service,( I shot these photos.) That is a 4" rag just dipped in mud , and as far as the picture being an unsafe set up , I believe the operator that was running the pump should be the judge of that. He was well aware of saftey and his suroundings ,including set up. OE-3

I think that the soils engineers that compute the ability of a given soil to support a load AND the ACPA - AND Putzmeister should be the judge of that. Call Putz and ask them if it is EVER within the safety guidelines to set up a 52m on dirt with those pads! And that is all I have to say. |

Could you imagine, loosing the upper fender, then or a brake pod, that would be one heck of a boom, LOL I use to run super low pros on a lowbed, and when one of those let go, the unit was down for days. Ps nice machine. |
