The contestants: Putz 31Z, KCP 32Z, Alliance 32Z, and the Schwing 31EZ (not a 5 section boom, but way to cool to leave out)... The 31 Putz looks to have an advantage over the KCP in its ability to boom all the way back to the cab with the boom at a very low overall height.... although I really like the outrigger setup on the Alliance and Schwing as they do not have swing-out style rear outriggers.... although the price of the KCP is rather attractive... Hmmmm, tough call... What do you guys think???

Putz with EBC. Just set the max and min height of the boom and you can boom all day indoors without looking at the boom and concentrate on doing a safer/better/quicker/easier/whatever job.

king waffle, clean that boom  lol

about time i seen other concord 32-5.  ive been having fun with astras for the last year n half.  it aint perfect but ive finished pumping every job and got back to the shop. *i do realized i have jinxed myself but i am due to have an issue*  squeezed that boom through holes i never thought possible.  pushed farther distances on and off the boom then i ever have in my limited experience of pumping concrete.  getting to the cab with the boom isnt the hard put,  it not allowing certain hose guys get that close to the cab.  as much fun as cleaning the truck is, it aint that fun and defenitly not fun cleaning because of stupid.  "oh dont worry about its, its a self cleaning cab you motherless rat ...  oh thats your truck ...

they all have they +  and - , the one thing that i have found extremely vercitile is the way the 4 - 5 sections articulate and not having all 5 sections stacked.  the funny part is that Putz has been designing concords and kcps 32-5 boom for years but in a big boom, alliance 45M and up are the same, the only problem with alliance/jun jin was that sections would snag each other if i didn't unfold 1 - 2 - 3 first.  im a little partial to the X style outriggers, but to have rear telescopic out-riggers would make things a little easyier at times.

been quite handy in tight spots when all i need is the stinger to get up a wall, blowing back into the mixer from the cradle and its nice to clean and grease my last gasket without taking the boom out of the cradle.  all the curved section ends have been the difference between getting it though or runnin hoses up.  no cracks in the iron, its only an 07 who did not have a pleasent childhood from the look of her when i got my hands on it.

i am somewhat biased though.  when there nothing  but concords for me to look at the last 18 months,  i tend to give a little love to the toys my employer allows me to play with.

a 42 z roll any day can work 42m from pump all the way back to the cab with only 8m working hieght. while keeping a kleen boom.

KcP/Concord 32 RZ hands down. The only people who wouldn't agree are those who have not ran one yet.

Here's a few reasons why I believe so...

...Not to mention the price difference! You'll save enough money to buy 300' of hose for all the line jobs you'll be getting.

an other reason i would prefer to have a KCP/Concord, Sermac and of course a Schwing is the Rotec turret vs the R & P turret.  if you can only unfold one way take cuts your opions down real fast.
