The American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) is one of the best organization I have ever seen.

If you are a concrete contractor that has Concrete Pumps or your a Concrete Pump Company I highly recommend this association. I went just to cover the event for ConcretePumping.com and I ended up joining and I recommend you all join also.

Did you guys know they have a Hotline and if you need help you just call and they help you. I mean they really help you. This is an association that is here to help its members. It is amazing how well these guys support each other.

Many of these guys own Concrete Pumps so don¡¯t think you will be alone if you join. Putzmeister and Cifa / Zoomlion were there the meeting also. Christy Collins the Executive director of the ACPA was there also.

Please do not hear what I am not saying, I am not saying to drop your membership in the ACPA. I love the ACPA but maybe its just not for you, maybe you need to be in both or maybe the ACPA and the ASCC should join forces and double both of there membership. The ASCC has the countries biggest concrete contractors at these meetings and let me tell you what, they are strait up guys.

They treat their sponsors right and they were so very kind to me. I felt like I belonged the first day.

Beverly Garnat the Executive Director was so kind and so professional, what a great assets. No wonder they are doing so well.

Julie Holtgrave the Operations Manager was so helpful. I was so impressed with this team.

Ward Malisch the Technical Director is a great guy also and so helpful if he does not know something he finds out and gets back to you right away (hot line guy)

Refreshing to see an orginazation not controled by the big pump companies.

I really think that one of the best things we can do for the pumping industry is to be involved with the ASCC. All the big Concrete Contractors are there. As a pump company do you think you might get more work getting to know the main guys from Baker Concrete Construction? or some of these other big boys?

We need to join up with these guys. It will make our industry stronger and safer.

Todd, I just signed up as a new member, and I represent Potratz Concrete Pumping Sw in Arizona. Reading about the ASCC I think I might give it a try and sign up, as we are trying to find some help with attaining more business. You mentioned they are very helpful. From what I saw they help each other. They take care of each other like nothing I have ever seen. If you signed up you will see. Let me know how it goes ok. When you call talk to Bev she is very helpful. They were very nice to me and I picked up a job the first day I joined up.
