You will enjoy this machine once you get past the fear of such a monster. A couple things that may interest you on the 61M ,pay close attention when you are pumping to the reducer next to the hopper. There were a few issues with this model when they first came out with the pipe holders in that area breaking and reinforcements had to be added. I have some pictures of a couple I worked on at my website http://www.cbinspection.com/gallery.html . They are the holders at top of the reducer above drivers side rear fender. Its an easy fix for a welder if you do experience issues there. One other thing, I found operators that have bent the tip by by dragging too much hose left to right just be aware of the recommended hanging weight of the tip hose to the boom and you will be ok. And always remember to open the #2 section first ,but thats a no brainer The set up is a bit to get used to also with the outrigger pads that hang on the rear outriggers and have to be added manuelly on each set up. But you will get used to it fairly quickly. Overall you will enjoy this model and if you respect and take care of it , it will give you and your company many years of good service.
@Pumbo, Schwing is here to stay from the "rumors" I have heard. They are in the process of bringing people back too so that is a good sign. |

Boom, Why do you think Schwing didnt design the 61 as a 5 section??? Great pump but as a 4???

@ concreteluvr, this is only a guess. But I reckon it was due to the track record they enjoyed with the 45 and 47 meter booms. |
