Does anyone out there have a truck that has black painted deck and boom pipe. If so, have you ever had any problems with it getting too hot? Any insights would be appreciated.

Talk to Berkley Concrete Pumping in Ca, they have Black booms and red pipe. Don't think they have had any problems

I painted my pipe dark blue for a couple of years to touch it was hotter than white, now its back white I think thats the best silver would work better for staying cool.

I never had any problems when I worked at Berkeley but then again wirking in the Bay Area temps are pretty cool. I also worked out of the Sacramento office to where it gets dam warm and didn't have any problems. Although I did always recirculate if I felt I was sitting for too long

we used to own this one never hed any problems with it. let's say no more than others.

it was the 500st KVM34 of schwing and my former boss would have killed to own it. we ran it for 5 years.
