the average time is about 4-6 hours for a 28m including the paperwork and no repairs . |

Anywhere form 6 to 10 hours depending on the year and how clean it is. |

Yep |

the only way it would take over 6 hours is if there are repairs involved. |

depending on the year and how clean it is. The older and dirty machines will take longer. The older, would mean a more cautious eye everywhere. The dirtier add 2 hours for bitching. Just the way it works |

The reason I asked this question is. We had a guy come to our yard and do a inspection on a 28m putz (95) . He got there at 8 in the morning, I got there at 815 opened boom for him. He started his inspection at 830.By 10 oclock he was gone paper work everything. I told my boss we been had. What do you guys think/ |

hi ruck My best guess is,probably. They might be nice people and all but that sounds record setting.I'v been involved with working with inspectors and they are pretty aggressive when it comes to pumps.I am guilty of playing with them but they are a very proffessional group of folks. The office really needs to be checking on these people for proper cert's. |

wow Ruck, that was fast indeed. It takes me about that long to get paperwork and pictures and other misc. items for the inspection done in that time frame. 1 1/2 hours is not a very good inspection.Give putzmeister a call and ask for Don Gerou, he will let you know if the guy was even certified to inspect your boom. Then go from there. |
