Anyone else get a shooting pain in there upper spine. Lately below my neck 6 inches it hurts. I don't know if its from wearing my remote strap or from pulling heavy 3" trailer pump hose. Yes i got that syndrome terminology from my wife :) |

Probably from the hose more than anything. I wear a wireless remote every day and I don't get pain like that. only time I do is if I'm doing a line job and were using 5 inch slick line or pipe. try doing some stretches before and after work and see if it helps at all. |

i just need to maybe not out work the young guys, take their job and stand back and watch. I think bouncing in the pump truck 2-300 miles a day at times makes a guy stiff also. Yes where i live towns are spread out. |

I had a lot of problems some years ago. Pain at all kinds of places. Shoulder, elbows, lower back, between shoulder blades. Never all at the same time. I was thinking all kinds of strange thing. Realy worrying. Finaly it seemed out it all came from the neck. Strange enough I never realy had pain in my neck A good series of massage and ALL problems where gone
Of course these massages where done by serious educated people. Not just a healt spa massage |

Yup, I agree. I've had this identical issue. I tried all kind's of things and finally discovered massage worked the best. The chiropractor just couldn't seem to get it sorted out. I do think it's a combination of lugging line around, driving, always opening up the grate with the same arm every day. Textile hoses were the worst. Not operating full time anyore and it seems to be getting a bit better. Right below my neck and between my shoulder blades. (There is a product called MEDI-STICK up here in Canada. You rub it on. It comes in a few variiations. Killer heat and actually takes the edge off the pain with a few applications.) |

Schwing used to offer a belt strap, that only goes around your waist |
