I regret to inform you that Brian Laughlin,  co-owner of Northeast Concrete Pumping and Crane Service passed away Wednesday, August 28th after a long battle with lung cancer.

Brian started Northeast in 1982 with two Thompson boom pumps. He later purchased Elba, Schwing and then Putzmeister pumps. In 1986, Brian added a partner, Joe Croteau, and together they built their fleet to a total of 10 Putzmeister concrete pumps ranging in size from 32 to 47 meters along with a City Pump and trailer pump.  Along with their pumps, in 2008 the two started a crane company which now consists of four cranes. But Joe says even though they owned cranes, Brian’s real love was always concrete pumping. He also says Brian was always a very smart businessman who “knew when to hold ‘em and knew when to fold ‘em!”. He was a true gambling man.
