I just want everyone to know that normally I do not allow bashing, fighting, badmouthing or the sort on ConcretePumping.com As a rule I do not believe it benefits anyone and its not what I want for concretePumping.com.

We are making an exception because BB has told me not to worry about what is being posted and dont worry about deleting any of the post.

This is how it works. I dont let trash talk happen unless the company says its ok. Its the same for everyone. I think TH should rename his handle to Don Quixote because he is a bit lost.

Other companies have called me and asked me not to delete the trash talk and that they would respond when it happens. Nothing new, it just does not happen that often.

They reason I am posting all of this is because I did not want people to think I had a policy change.

I think you should continue to delete them.  This is a concrete pumping site...not a "bash your competition" site.

I've had a few of my posts deleted when I went on a rant but I later realize this site is not for my bashing descretion...it is to help advance concrete pumping and a place to network.

This site was started to HELP the concrete pumping industry and our fellow pumpers.  How can all of this hatred toward some company’s decisions make your situation better?  Most of us go to work and get crapped on half the day because of bad weather or a crappy job super or just a tuff pour in general.  Then, we get home and read a bunch of hate on here…or maybe you’ve had enough by the end of the day and skip this site all together.  Some of you get home and take it out on EVERYONE on a web forum.

Some company’s make poor decisions.  Some business’ are circling the drain because of decisions made beyond their control (economy, fuel prices, concrete prices, government’s sudden need to regulate carbon, etc.). 

Everyone has an idea of the situation with BB and I’m sure contractors get to talking to you on the job and you get fired up. Your hurtful opinion could also be the result of propaganda your current employer is loading you up with.  However, I haven’t read a single thread that gave ANY indication that a company would change it’s business practices based on what they read on a web forum.

Furthermore, how is all this hate and discontent helping?  Is there some forum “credit” being issued for saying, “see…I told ya so!” because the way your posts read, that’s what it looks like.  Think about how some of this reads to people lurking or potential new members who could CONTRIBUTE to this site. 

Why would a major manufacturer or company want to have a service rep hanging out on a site that could 180 on them? (Those of you who get their feelings hurt when their post is deleted, please re-read this.)

Industry information is great to have and your opinion is welcome but please, respect the fine line between your opinion and bashing.

I'm sure BB would like to squash the rumors but If you want to bash, start your own site.

Hey i think it might just be time to lay it all out. If BB is ok with it I have no problem with it also. Yes i might delete it all in a month or so but for now its all good.

Maybe, and this is just my opinion, if all the unions would have not been so in favor of our current administration the majority of this would not have happened.  Nothing has gotted better, its only gotten ten times worse since the changing of the guard in Jan. 2007 and Nov. 2009.  Something to think about when the elections come up this November.  I dont think this was the Change anybody asked for!

well they got it bigstick and now we have to live with it and our kids and grandkids will be paying for it for years to come.

I have been waiting for this for a long time and I personally am proud of you! Let time heal the wounds and hopefully what has been talked about for a few years now will become reality, yet it has to start at the top, and flow like the creek to the pond, and take everyONE WITH IT, so all will prosper in the end. Wonder if Well Fargo folks are lookin at these blogs.  Doesn't anyone wonder how Jack and Dale stole so much company moeny to buy themselves motorcycles, RV's, yachts, fancy vacation homes, cars, etc.  Look at Jack Brundage using banks moeny to drive himself to work in a BENTLEY!!!  Is that a big F-YOU to the banks and to the employees who are losing their jobs!  These guys took millions out for themselves and now look!!!  When does this end????

dont forget the sclades in irving and fishing trips to costa rica, harleys and oh dont forget about the boats on triple axle trailers being pulled by that black sclade, I personaly heard that a certain high up person cutting the pump pricing to lower than $400.00 a job instead of the full price. And the guy on the other end was tell this certain clown(aint gona call him a man) how much he was going to pay think thats hurting the biness more than anything I mean i need sumthing pumped and u tell me how much it is contractor should pay that price not wat hes got in his pocket~~~~ 

Yeah, looting your company is OK when you have a private S Corp...  until you start taking out bank loans for that business then diverting the money to yourself...

Well, it is/was their company.  It was their choice to do what they wanted with.  Bentley's, Pimpcalades, Cigar Boats, Yachts, Harley's, Mansions, Exotic vacations.....It's all part of the 'American Dream', they were operating in a capitalistic manner, it's what you do, isn't it?  they never said they were missionaries, did they.

they came, they saw, they floundered, but they sure had fun doing it, and the government can't take that away can they?

They don't put you in jail for merely going broke, as long as you do it legally.

well this certain person went to shev. louisanna and then told corp. that theres a ass load of work out there so they sent which i was told 20+ pumps, but in all true ness if the irving branch slowly losses customers, pumps, and operators, and bbcp shuts that branch down theres a few people that will gain so much and is in bed with a really big home/commerical bilder so he can take and sell his shares and the others can do the same back to bbcp and on top of the yearly bonuses the peeps get or got in the past 20+ years at bbcp then dont be shocked if a new concrete pumping company is in dallas after this all gets done IM JUST SAYN wont be a monster company but heard theyll have enuff for 10 or so pumps starting out.

and if bbcp dont look at them closer bbcp will lose more im not hating on bbcp just sayn watch the guys u call one of ur own

God i just love how everyone is so sure that they got it all figured out.  Know what i did to day?  I went out and pumped mud, and guess what....it was fun!  I'm on here to learn, teach, get advice and look at some pretty cool job pics.  However it seems latley that everyone would rather create all this hate and discontent and add more fuel to the all ready burning fire.  Here's an idea quit poking at the lion in the cage and lets get back down to the biz that we all love so much.  PUMPIN MUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey BPP i decided to get me a pump found one online gona go test it out before the money man buys it. Ive got contractors still calling me right and left and never ran a telebelt before but they r wanting alot of work with that thing too. One had me out on a job site that needs about 80+ pours with boom and prolly 20 with a belt just on that one job and he has many more just like it so i ges ill get back on the sticks, and see wat happens. you mister have a good day
