Yes i know. It a rule here in the USA no metal, its like having a hammer on the end of your hose.

Still see alot of metal ends,no safety straps,no pins in the clamps.I asked my new employer for a safety cable from boom to reducer,the answer"Whats that?".These rules must be enforced like boat captains,swift,but fair punishment with a monetary fine and, or jail time.,and loss of license.Sounds harsh,but so is a speeding reducer to the head.
