get this, its friday and everyone is looking forward to our paychecks. we pick up our pay stubs wich also include news letters and such. this weeks letter explained why everyone on the C&C side of this merger is missing an entire day of pay on their checks. since pumpco's payroll goes from mon to sat and is payed the following weeks friday C&C decided to go to this format. rather than wed through tues and getting paid that pay that friday. to get us a week behind like the pumpco crew they are going to hold one day a week for 5 weeks to get us on schedule with the pumpco guys. worse yet they do it on the last check of the month when everyone has mortgages and rent due on the first and they so conveniently forgot to give us any warning this would happen. just bam heres your short check see you later. and if you have a short week and dont work one day they dont use that day. they use whatever day they want. so if you work 4 days then your check is going to be for 3. what do you guys think bout this?????? |

they should have at least gave you 30 day notice. If it was me i would tell them how to get there. they don't own u i went threw that years ago when i was single told them to find someone else to do the job cause I don't play that game. One thing I won't stand for is messing with my money |

I know the whole thing sucks but i would talk to my supervisor if I was you and just let him know where you are at with all of this and ask him if they can be a bit flexible. Ask them if we can start next week or in 30 days or so and just talk to them about it. |

C&C, I am sure that even though you are not happy about the program (i would not be either) you will get your money. My only word of caution would be for you to make a note of any of those hours that are being delayed that would have been, under normal conditions, overtime. When they are paid, that fact that they were worked as overtime should be reflected and paid at whatever time is now applicable. It will be easier to track now than try and figure it out later. I worked for the big yellow booms for a long time and must say that I was never shorted any money. And the guys at C&C are straight up people as well. |

Sounds to me that someone is being insensitive to the employees involved. One would think by now that Pumpco would have their program together and set up for a smooth transition. Merger? I would ask them to Merge my missing pay back into my check! Who can afford to give up a days pay anytime no matter how the company payroll is done? How long before the C & C name is gone? |

well you will eventually get paid for your time they just want to play with your money because the bean counters know how to maximize a dime. i have to deal with timely payments so if i have the money i will make my equipment bill a couple weeks in advance and stay ahead is a better feeling and sure iam cash dry and have to use a credit card for lunch and fuel. but this is how it is so control the spending and get on top of things. i do not like wasting my time racing to make the last moment payment, eventually you will forget and be a day behind not good. brian |

I worked for pumpco in Georgia, all I have to say is you may want to look for a different company, because at pumpco they really dont care about there operators and it shows in their 401 to their benifit packages, I left and went to a company in california thats union and thats where its at my friends UNION!!!!! |
