anyone in california hear the rumor that cemex bought 50 booms??? i heard that from a berkely pump operator last week...

I heard the same, but i live in FL. They r so big they THINK  they can do ANYTHING. Pay by the load didn't work so well(caused mixers to run around like garbage trucks).

They bought more than that, closer to 150, and have been doing so for years.  It's neck and neck b/t Cemex and Brundage-Bone for the title of "The World's Largest Boom Pump Provider" with 800+ each.  Cemex owns the pump market in Mexico and S.America, which is where all their pumps go, or have to date.

Heard the same here 150 + , I dont believe all rumors but they are sitting at a port in Los Angeles. as we speak with no operators.  just what I heard

i heard this about a year ago. i was actually talking to a co worker of yours OE-3 a few weeks ago about it. that's why i posted it. he told me that cemex is supposed to be gearing up pretty soon. i'm actually trying to get a job with ya guys OE-3. trying to get in to talk to the boss man, lol.
