I have a question, hopefully someone has an answer. I have a 32 meter Putzmeister, 32X150. I am changing the seals inside the water box for my hydraulic cylinders, can I get the seals out inside the water box or do I have to take my hydraulic cyliners off to change the seals? I have talked to 2 different people and I have been told that on the smaller pump cells the cylinders have to come off, and I was also told that I don't have to take them off. Does anyone have information about this? |

Look at the gland in the water box. If it has Allen bolts around it then you can replace the chevron seals with the cylinders in place. |

Thanks for that info, yes I can see the bolts, they are all tied together with steel wire. I will give it a try. |

A tip for you. Take an old tooth brush and make it like a screw driver on the end and use it to push the seals in 1 at a time burp the air as you go and they will fit in better, the nylon brush handle will not damage the rod or seal |
