some people took my last message as they were keeping one day a week of our pay. they are just trying to get us at c&c on the same pay schedule as most other companies are. a week behind. but most of the time this occurs when the employee is hired. we are only running 3 days behind on our payroll. payroll ends on tues and that check is cut and given to us on firday. most companies payroll goes mon through sun and that check is given to the employee the following friday a week later. so instead of us just missing a week of pay to put us a week behing they are holding 1 day a week for 5 weeks. then on the week they would push our payroll back a week they will issue us a check equaling the amount of the 5 days they previously held back. that way we are a week behind like the pumpco schedule but dont miss a weeks pay all together. in that aspect i understand why they did it and it is a good idea but my problem was the lack of notice of this action. work here has gotten quite slow and hours arent as abundant. so some of us are living check to check and being right before the first of the month when they start this with no warning rent or mortgage is due and thats a big problem. they should have given adequet notice so we had time to prepare for this..... there in lies my fustration. aslo the c&c name isnt going anywhere. the pumpco pumps are now sporting new c&c decals and no longer and pumpco. we are leasing their pumps in the southeast and lousianna. we are also covering all their customers also. |

well chris c&c at least working for your present company you will at least get paid for the hours that you worked. your former employer thought he could get away with not paying the operators for thier hours. about eight former operators and a federal court has decided otherwise. Im sure this message will be deleted, but allways remember never give up and dont let the bastards win. its your money, time, and experience. and for once the IDIOTS are not running the asyllum. |
