We had a truck a while back that a greaser block became clogged up on. The block has since then been cleaned and works great again, but my question is if anyone else has ever encountered these blocks clogging and if so, what kind of grease were you using. The block that was clogged was one that came from the automatic greaser for the Putz hoppers. |

The reason these blocks get glogged is dirt. you can put any grease in it but a tinny bit of sand is asking for troble |

I don't have an auto greaser on my line pump, but before I put the gun on I always wipe the nipple with a clean rag. Blocked grease nipples are simply annoying. |

they usually dont get blocked on most instances one of the outlets gets blocked and that stops the block from moving before messing with the block i always crack open the lines after the block and push grease through them, and begin tightening the fittings until it stops turning and then youve identified the problem port |
