Does anyone have any suggestions on a good work boot? Being on your feet for up to 10 hours or more can put some stress on my feet. I tend to buy the most expensive boot I can find thinking it may help and be comfortable. That is not the case. Seems like every boot I buy falls apart or is completly uncomfortable. Even tried getting custom made orthopedics. Still not comfortable.. I NEED A GOOD CONCRETE BOOT that is not going to tear up my floors. Any Suggestions?? |

Just about every operator here gets there boots from Red Wing Shoes. They have nothing but good things to say about them. They are a little expensive but well worth it in the long run... |

I'm not a big fan of Red Wing. The last two pairs I bought were from there and they fell apart and were not that comfortable. For the price I paid they should have lasted more than a year. I called them because they say they are guaranteed and the only thing that is guaranteed is the sole of the boot (which was fine) it was just detaching itself from everything else.. haha |

i have a wide foot so i have to do red wings and the best one that i got was 220-240 it was gore-tex and water proof with that life time sole which is still good but the ball of the foot support has failed so i will only use them long enough for a three hour tour. they lasted a year and a half and i never fell down thats worth it. but they are still useable and will buy another pair this winter. |

Danner Insulated all year round! Thinsulate keeps them cool in the summer, and with wool socks ,TOASTY in the winter! Just oil them once a week after they've been on a dryer |

Danners here in Oregon, the only ones that last if you take care of them. |
