How would you know when the gate is closed? As a simple minded operator I cannot assume that this valve will never malfunction.     Use a proximity switch to activate a yellow caution light on the tip

The FWC weight is 76lbs with all hoses and valve for the tip shut off valve. The would equate to using a 9ft 5" tip hose instead of a 12ft 5" tip hose to keep within weight limits on most booms.

When this valve is open, you can see the plate is exposed so you will know it is open. It is very easy to see when the valve is open.
