There plenty different. They share some sructural designs but what pumps dont these days. Some Concords still have a rack & pinion swing w/ slewing rams and KcP's run rotech's, even on there little ZX100 24m. There was a period when it was hard to tell Concord from Alliance and Jun-Jin at a glance. They all stem from Korean engineers.

I look at em like K-9's now days, They all got 4 legs. Most people with golden retreivers thought they were buying a Lab. lol

if i have the whole shop-opera corect,  concord started with jun-jin.  after the fall out of concord and jun-jin, alliance started with jun-jin, and concords are (now) pretty much kcp.

not a 100% on the facts.  the concord i operate is an 07 kcp,  and theres a twin in the fleet that is an 06 concord. ??

I worked for an outfit through the whole "opera" that now has 9 of these pumps. The first in '99 a Xun-Xin/Concord36. The an '01 Concord36X (A twin to early Alliance36) Then first "pure-bread" in '04 that still had the rack & pinion swing. They had a trial and error period when they tested their limits by putting bigger booms on the same 36 footprint. Then redesigned the turret to a rotech. Now their sweet hearts.

i work with a few of operators who first tested the new concords, and they had a trail and error period but who hasnt and still arnt.  everyboby wants a bigger lighter boom.

im glad that concord has gotten away from the rack & pinion and are focused on roteck.  rock solid the concord/kcp i operate is.

i heard from an un named source that concord used to test their pumps with both rear outrig's full thus be a problem when they were empty

the things we hear...

I worked with a guy that had an outrigger sink & stuffed the tip in a dirt pile. This was a 38 concord now he wont stretch his boom out unless his rear oposite outrigger is all the way out & full. Thus spawned his nick-name "Gimp"! A 28 with a dozer sitt'n in the hopper woulda went over the same as his did. Counter weight my a$$!
