You can put the pressure washer tip (hot water) right up to it and blast it off, sometimes it works really well, and other times it doesn't. I have also used a razor blade to poke at it carefully, NOT SCRAPE. Once you work at it for a bit, most of it comes off, and if you slip by mistake, then just polish the scratch and you will only know haha. I don't really mess with chemicals on wheels.

I agree, HeaT removes concrete from anything that's aluminum. I managed to keep an original factory name brand sticker on my hopper shroud for almost 3 years! Because I never pressure washed the "inside", instead I'd crank up the heat and hold the pressure washer to the backside til it got hot enough that every splatter PoPped off like Popcorn (as the alum. expands from the heat)

As far as chemicals go,  MudSlide works awsome and is safe on aluminum And hardened chrome. Be sure to actually follow the directions or it does nothing.

Its applied in 2 or 3 applications and without disturbing the unwanted crustyness between apps. just let it do its thing.

Alluminium and concrete are actualy a very bad combination. I wish putz and all those that use aluminium on the remotes would realize that !!! It just reacts with eachother and it burns in to the aluminium. The remotes from schwing with the plastick are so much easyer to keep clean!! Can someone please wake up and do something about this? ;-) Please!!

Try Backset .  It softens it and pressure washer will take it right off.

Hey Tootall.  Mudslide is a primer isn't it ?

The best product I've ever used for removing concrete is ZEP Mudslide. It will literally melt concrete off of any  surface. It even can melt down latex mixes which always seemed impossible to clean.

there is aluminum polish i use called busch supershine. it is pink and i can get it only at pilot truck stops.I can tell you it is the best. when you polish the rim it will soften the concrete up and bring any wheel to a sparkling shine the first time
