Here are some pictures of one of my booms. This is a 20 yr machine but on a new truck. It's only a 24-3 stage....it's well looked after and goes out every day. The only tell-tail that there was a problem is the rusty water that had come out between the boom and the bracket for the fold up, you can see it in the pics if you look close.
You can put these photos up if you want to just to let everyone know what can happen. No one was injured as you can see, very lucky!!!!!

No Doubt Too Tall. The top 1/3erd under that cradle plate looks like its been open for a while. Maybe even repaired before even.? |
