Highway 20 just east of Albany was closed for a brief period Monday morning following a non-injury traffic crash involving a concrete pump trailer.

Oregon State Police investigated, and no citations were issued.

At 11:10 a.m., a 1997 Ford pickup towing a concrete pump trailer driven by Blaine M. Branam, 30, from Lebanon was eastbound on Highway 20 near milepost 4 when the trailer's right rear tire blew, causing it to fishtail and overturn.

Traffic was interupted for an hour for clean up and clearing the road.

OSP was assisted at the scene by Albany Fire Department and ODOT.

The weight was to the rear of the axel and not on the hitch. One of the dangers of running with a full hopper to the next job

I am like cat, I have not seen in my owners manual not to haul mud but why. Pulling a trailer I think needs to be 40% of the weight on the tongue. With the hopper full the tongue will come up on mine. I pulled a dump trailer loaded wrong one time. Flipped it because one of the axles bent and it started fish tailing and flipped. This might have been one of those no clean out here so he was heading to clean it out.

He was pissed that he couldn't clean out so he emptys his hopper this way.

If the front realy comes up when the hopper is full its quite clear you are not alowed to drive like that. Isn't it????
