I was watching the show Dirty Jobs on Discovery. They were doing some concrete placing in the hart of Texas. Any one know who's pump it was on TV? It was a red boom.

I too have seen that show.I did find the company but can't remember how.It was either by acpa or there location.Might look at shows web site.

I saw the show also, I thought the host was going to get killed, did you guys see him handle the hose, oh man, he was all over the place falling backwards holding on to the hose like a safety line. At one point I thought he was going to fall back into the forms. And why was there a metal end to that hose? Oh well another pour with out a law suite, i guess it went well.

I did love seeing a pump on that show. The operator stayed clean.

I did not see the host getting beat up but it sounds pretty bad!!! That kind of footage should be edited out!! No one needs to see that! Also Should the operator have taken it a bit easy on the guy. Prime TV Spot??? 

lol it was not the operator it was the dorky host of the show. He just had no idea. I think it was the first time in the mud and the rebar was tripping him up and bla bla bla. he was try to push the hose around. It was funny. ok well maybe not funny.

We pump concrete we are not eduMacated very well.

The same thing happens to me no matter what computer I buy the spell check guy gets so upset he jumps out the window and kills himself. Believe it or not I use spell check but many time he does not even know what I am tiring to spell. Oh well. You know we all want our kids to be better than us but I thought it would be high school not first grade before they could prove it.

I thought it was some pretty sloppy boom operation myself. 

as any boom operator knows- a bad hoseman can make even the best boom operator look bad. take it easy on that pump operator- he had a slight disadvantage.

I remember 2 episodes.One on a boom (texas) slab on grade I think.One with line pump (Ca)doing stamped I believe.
