The name of the 41-year-old man who was electrocuted in Denver on Wednesday was released today. Around 9:36 p.m., Dennis Mann was electrocuted at 640 W. Tennessee Ave., an equipment yard, according to the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner. Mann was pronounced dead on scene. Working in an O'Brien Concrete Pumping equipment yard, Mann was operating a boom that clipped an overhead power line. The cause of death was determined to be "complications of high voltage electrocution" according to the coroner's office. The death was ruled an accident. The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration department has been notified of the fatal accident, the coroner's office said.

Grew up with Dennis as my next door neighbor. I can only imagine how much he must have loved this work. He was a man's man and a fun person to be around. For those that knew him he will be missed. Stay safe out there.....
