We have often reported on cases where crane or platform operators have forgotten to stow their booms correctly, resulting in bridge bashing or ripping overhead lines out, but we have been sent an example from Norway that might establish a new record.

It boggles my mind to think that an operator would leave the jobsite with the boom up. I could never get away with it with my 36 Z I'm pretty sure it would tip over before I got ten feet. Just freaking amazing that he got that far. |
