Hi all trying to work in a remote location where READYMIX is impossible to get. Thinking of getting 2 nos SELF LOADING mixers of 2cubic yard each to mix on site and feed a small line pump. The mixers mix a batch in approx 15 mins. Do you think this arrangement is feasible and what are the likely difficulties i might face? Thanks for sharing the benefit of your experience with me. |

Water is not a problem at all. All materials are available (sand, stone & cement). The type of self loading mixer am talking about is exactly as shown by VASA but of 2 m3 capacity. If am able to do 12 m3/h, i'll be fine. |

Why not a Mobile Mixer?? You can get up to 14 yard mixers,I think!!
Use only what you need, save the rest for later! |

When I see some of the pictures and places the other operators pump from and hear the stories, problems,I go to work the next day with a new love for what I do and where I am at, and realize what i think might be difficult is nothing to compare to what some of you guys do or have done I learn everyday from this site. Thanks for sharing, all I could add is have plenty of mini delay packs ready in case of delay. |
