A few questions for you experts from a novice: 1: What is approx minimum discharge time for an 8 metre load of concrete into a hopper 2: To achieve maximum produxction, should we always try to get two truckmixers feeding hopper or is there a better way? 3: Schwing or Putzmeister?(static pump) Realising backup service is the most important, but ignoring that, any real difference between them? I appreciate any help from you guys because the years of experience you all have is great to hear Regards Ton in Ireland

Very experienced, however will never consider myself an expert ( still learning every day )   I get alot of work from local batch plants, always try to keep in touch with dispatch and or salesman to speed up or slow down based on how fast trucks are coming on job, makes it easier on you, ( why pump out fast and wait for a long while or why pump slow and have trucks sitting on site ???? ) and doesn't force the batch company to explain why there is such a lag between trucks.  ( makes them look better,   = = future references !!!!) On bigger jobs, it is always easier to start job lining up trucks two behind pump.

That's what I assumed. Have 2 pumps at the hopper at all times and a couple waiting as those two finish discharge. And comparison schwing/ putzmister? Another question, what about using spiders on deck pours? Save a lot of effort once there is crane available to move em?
