That's the most tricked out MR I've ever seen.  I like the twin air intakes and the exhast sidepipes.

It looks pretty awesome, but I bet it still sucks ass to drive, like a concrete pump.

And the front with the headlights and windows still looks like a clown..

Yes looks great. But?????? Does it make you money? Can you get more for you service from the investment in this truck? THen if your on the road and throw something up under the wheel wells. Good bye wheel wells. More money out.

Like I had sad in another posting. We here in the USA are sometimes more EGO driven then profit driven. Other countries stay with the basics and put the money into the performance features and the basic rims, paint and others. I have seen guys spend thousands more on tricking out pumps as well and then going though mud to pump mud. In six busy months you have a basic truck and all the tricked out stuff is old history and worn and nobody pays attention to it.

Need to be more profit aware and less show aware. Concrete pumps can be rebuilt over and over again and will do the same thing a new pump does at more then half the money. You can't get any higher rates for all the fancy crap on a piece of equipment. You may even make profit sticking to basics. Just keep it clean, serviced and safe.

Would this guy ever make any money on his truck? It must be just for the show...

My pride is getting the job done, Make as much as possible money, make as much as possible customers happy and do all this in a safe way. If I have to do it with a heap of crap I don't care to much. As long as it works..

Of course its nice with a good looking truck.. But thats it.. Nice..

Well Said Many. I think Clean, Serviced and Safe best describe pride. Nothing fancy. Just flat out well kept equipment that is safe.

While with bbcp there are 6 pumps that come to mind,#10,#11,#114,#771,#1295,#611.Almost without fail every Sunday I went to the shop and was doing something. It ranged from up on riggers pressurewashing the frame (hated the oil/grease) to rotating boom pipe, polishing wheels, cleaning cab.I paid for 90% of cleaning/waxes myself.I was told many times I was nuts/crazy but they got only a smile.Pride of one machine,or in this case truck I marvel at how nice it looks, what it takes to stay above the rest.Pride cannot be measured,a reflection of ourselves, when an owner sees that there becomes a bond of trust. One can bet there last nichol they are well taken care of,while the mutt's sit home wondering why there's no work.

On a side note,The customers always saw me cleaning or even picking up trash on a jobsite, the requests just kept coming in,all I had to do was my job !!!

Awesome. Thats the way it should be. Same with a finishers tools. Do you use a guy with hard concrete on his tools or the guy who keeps his tools clean and ready to work?? Nine out of ten the guy who keeps the tools clean and bag organized is the quality guy. Pumps. Nine out of ten the guy who keeps the pump clean, hopper clean is the guy who will be doing a great job for you.

Pride. in our work and work ethic. Thats how this country was built. Need to get back to it.

As I recall Many 1295 looked a lot better when I was running it. The first new pump I got still got pictures of me polishing wheels. Proud to say most of our guys here are polishing and looking good again.
