Cooling fans 98 Putz

I need two cooling fans on a 98 Putz. Should I dump the $180 a piece for the replacement fans and keep it quick and simple. Should I try to be creative and refit a fan from Nappa for $30 bucks each?

Check with the Korean mf'g first. Then make a decision. Check the "pitch" of the fan blades too. Less pitch, less air flow.

I know that the Korean machines are return to tank not closed loop, but they sure know how to keep the oil cool.

Thanks Bob,

I checked and was quoted at $600. I almost fell off my chair. With a price like that $180 was a deal. So I just ordered a replacement from my vendor.

Man, that is WAY too much too much too much. What a rip. Who gave you that bogus quote? That price must have been for a hydraulic motor and fan and shroud and heat exchanger.....WOW!!!

I don't want to name any names. I called two of them and the other guy needed the numbers. I liked the way it worked out. I called my vendor and told him I needed a fan for my cooling tower on my 98 Putz. They are all the same so it was an easy part. He sent it out. My guys are quick to get my stuff out. That makes a big difference
