I was pumping grout up to the 4th floor of a building today, and they had me setup next to a crane.
apparently with this crew, Riding the crane is normal
Its probably OK footing, but i dont like having spaces between my cribbing |

That seems kinda unsafe in many ways. I hate cranes, always getting in my way, and of course they get the prime spots. They couldnt have hired a line pump to pump grout? And it looks way thick. They grouting by hand? |

small spaces on thick timber like that = no problem at all. can help make the area bigger = spread the weight more. |

goose, they were flling cracks in the concrete panels so they requested a pump. probably could have been done with a trailer, but for some reason they prefer using a pump. and boomer, do you work at pumpcrete too?? |

and they wanted it at that slump because they said it filled in better. what they are doing is dropping a pile onto the ground then they use squeegys and spread the grout in between the pre cast panels so they are flush |
