Well it could have popped off because it was loose enough. I check all of my fitting and, clamps when I do regular maintenance. I have found clamps that have just loosened over the years. |

Those short fat ones are fun to wrestle, they dont like bending much! I'm guessing it was a bolt on type fitting if it 'popped' off. Inspect the metal flange on the hose end, both sides, be sure the edges are not rounded or worn. Also inspect the bolt on collars for signs of wear. Maybe compare it with a new one or one that's working properly to see if it's worn or possibly even bent or tweaked. If it's a compression fitting that's pretty crazy. I coundn't imagine one just coming off without a ten foot cloud of hyd. oil before hand. |

If the pumps are Sunstrand check for brass in the hydraulic oil. Probably time to upgrade to Rexroth.

Case drain line between both pumps blew off. Pumps starting to come apart internally. This is the reason Putz changed to Rexroth. Many pumps replaced over the years |
