Pumps and water buffer are protected from freezing. Pipeline is insulated. This pipeline goes all the way down to the base of the tower and then up again to the top where its connected to a (self builded) diversion valve feeding 2 manual placing booms. We have used this set-up regularly over the past year without any significant problems.
