I have a 98 Putz with an HBC two joystick Remote 2nd stage turns on the right stick. There is a lot of play in the remote itself before the stack valves move (all Functions)? When they do engage about a quarter push into it everything is normal with the stack Valves movement but it appears not to be much Proportional boom speed. It is slow and then as fast as it will go? I am thinking it is because it is a 98. Boom is smooth!

You should be able to set the minimums on that box (stick movement before stack valve action). Ask your dealer to walk you through the steps.

Allen have you adjusted the set screw on the stack valves to increase the boom speed (essentially set it all the way out and work back from their adjusting it incrementally as you got till you get the desired speed) also you can use the box features to set the boom speed by manually "setting up" the boom. Hoe this helps.
