Dear Dipstick. You know I love you man. I read your whole post and I have gotten to know you a bit over the years, you are a really good guy and i am so glad you are on the site. After reading your post I thought, man he had one hell of a day and is venting on this site. You had a really bad day and yes you were upset at Putz but it was a bit over the top. Putz is a friend of mine and they help me pay for this web site. If you had posted some things you would like to see improved on the unit or wanted to make some suggestions that would of been great but you were just venting. Sorry you had a bad day brother. Please do not be upset with me. Just so you know Putz did not ask me to take down the post i did it myself.

Ok. You are right. I was venting and it was quite extreem. But please don't think I was just venting without first trying the normal way. We have sugested improvement several times.. First the nice way. Later a bit less nice. But nothing is done about it. This unit was brand new. And do you know how much it sucks to be cleaning up 2 m3 of concrete on the middle of the road in town traffic. I did indeed have a hell of a day and felt like they deserved this kind of ''payback''. This was kind of the last desperate attempt to get some change before I give up completely. Nice to know it was just you that deleted the post, not putz. That makes it better |

I understand. I know Putz and i know the guys that work their, I believe Putz is the number one concrete boom pump manufacture in the world right now and will be for some time. I do know that when building equipment or anyting else for exsample there are many considerations to design and so on. I do not want ConcretePumping.com to be the place to vent on a manufacturer. With all that said, I pray you have much better days ahead Dipstick. |

Its actualy quite stupid because 99% of the putzmeister is in my opinion absolutely GREAT. When I started driving this PUMI I realy felt emediatly like YES.. Now we are talking propper pumps! They are indeed very good pumps. Its just that 1% that ruins it for me. I never had this problem with any other pump so I can not see any reason why it has to be like this. In our company it happened at least 6 times in the last 5 years that someone (most newbees or guys that almost never drive PUMI) dump a load of concrete on the road. But I gues we just have to live with it. A spade will be standard equipment from now on |

I think his self unloding system broke down. Yes a pumi keeps his hopper ful by electronics. And if the system fails the drum keep unloding. |

Ive had a post deleted before, sponser or not you had a problem and you could'nt get any help. Good luck with your problem. A little like the US government, you only see or hear what they want you to hear. |

In short: If you switch off the PTO the sensor in the hopper stops working but the drum keeps going. Its just a minor detail that can have huge consequences. |
